08/10/2021 - WHO WILL RESTORE ME MY LOSS?

If a man steals an ox or a sheep, and slaughters it or sells it, he shall restore five oxen for an ox and four sheep for a sheep. Exodus 22.1

Reading this verse, we see the best criminal law, which was never been created by any nation on Earth. If it were applied in any country, it would put an end to all thefts and robberies. In the Word, we find a solution to the problems of mankind; all that is needed is for the people and the rulers to bow down before the authority of the Creator and follow His directions. However, man’s pride and his unbridled desires to sin don’t let him be free indeed.

The Lord places Himself as your Restorer, no matter what kind of moral or financial damage you have suffered. This even includes damage caused by insects: “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you (Joel 2.25). Whoever serves God according to the Gospel can claim such reparation.

The Most High declares: No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD (Is 54.17). It is our inheritance that the weapons of the evil one will never prosper over our lives, and that every tongue that rises against us will be condemned in Judgment. Claim these rights!

Jesus drew a parallel between Himself and Satan, saying: The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (John 10.10). There is no way for the devil to become good, nor for the Savior to stop honoring His Word. The source of all evil that attacks you – is the enemy, who has already been defeated by the Master, in our place. Therefore, we have also defeated him. Believe and demand your problem to go away! 

As we can see, everything that steals, kills or destroys – originates with Satan, but God’s Word declares that he has been stripped of the power stolen from man. Therefore, if anyone in Christ resists the enemy’s attempts, he will be completely set free. “Revolt” in the Holy Spirit and command every evil work to be destroyed in the Name of Jesus (Luke 10.19)!

The Savior came to give us life – the reward – in abundance. The believer doesn’t have to mourn the loss, but rather believe that he will be restored 30, 60 and at 100 for one – in what was stolen from him, if he lived in the presence of God. Everything we do in Christ is like a seed planted by us. Therefore, our actions in the Lord bring the assurance of being rewarded. Be strong and overcome!

Zacchaeus no longer hid his wrong attitudes, because when he received Jesus in his house, the Holy Spirit convinced him to change his way of living. Zacchaeus stood up and in front of everyone, assumed his error, stating that he would fulfill the Law’s prescription, giving back four times what he had subtracted (Luke 19.1-9). At last, salvation had come to his home!
