Not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous. 1 John 3.12

It is good that we pay attention to God’s words. In this way, faith will be granted to us and we will not do the wrong things. In the Old Testament, overcomers acted by faith, although they didn’t know it. Jesus emphasized this term, saying that faith had healed people; however, Habakkuk was the first to say that the righteous would walk by faith: Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. (Habakkuk 2.4).

Abel was led by faith; therefore, his offering received divine approval. He meditated on what he heard from God and made an effort to carry it out. He who does this, does so in an environment filled with the Father’s presence and doesn’t lose the battles. Now, he who doesn’t connect with the words of the Lord – does everything by himself. You see, man was made less than angels, and demons are fallen angels, made greater than men. Stay alert and pray!

Whoever guides his attitudes by faith pleases the Father and becomes His delight. The Lord rejoices in those who give Him credit. Because He is true and sovereign, God will help us overcome our struggles. However, since sin has separated man from the divine presence, those who don’t take advantage of faith cannot come to God. Now, man will do better if he pays attention to the Lord; then he will be able to live by faith.

Cain did everything out of obligation or fear that they would say he was evil. He is proof that nothing works without love. His poor heart didn’t understand that offering to the Lord was a golden opportunity to show his love for Him. Now, your words and your deeds come from what you have placed inside yourself. When you hear God’s Word, strive to fulfill it, expressing true love.

In His goodness, the Lord makes us understand that a person who acts for a certain reason other than faith – sins. So, be aware of God’s revelations and carry them out. The Bible says: But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he doesn’t t eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin (Romans 14.23). As long as there is doubt in you, don’t speak something that will cause you to err and be condemned. He who speaks from faith gives a solution to the problem! What will you do?

The statement that Cain was of the evil one explains everything. This occurred when he failed to heed the promptings of God’s Spirit, which warned him of the error before it was carried out. In every decision, we have the chance to connect ourselves to the Lord. Our attitudes should give praise to our God. But the firstborn of Adam refused the directions of the Most High and did evil deeds; therefore, he murdered Abel.

The path of sin widens before the one who allows evil to take root in his being. Sometimes this happens slowly, sometimes quickly. The time will come when Satan will use such an individual as his servant. However, the saved person has the power to bind and loose whatever God commands (Matthew 16.19). Hallelujah!

In Christ, with love,

God of good direction! You have shown us the danger of doing evil deeds. The servant who allows himself to be tempted will find that the devil will use him in any which way. The saved one has the chance to confess his iniquities and be free - for real!

Cain wasn't born of the evil one, but his evil actions led him to be so. We desire to be Yours, Father - so we ask forgiveness for our failures! Deliver us from temptations, leading us by Your Holy Spirit. We beg for mercy!

When the enemy approaches with his lies, take away from us what is no good and give us the ability to see the door opened by You. Then we will enter through it, into Your presence, and escape from evil. We want to be used in Your work, Savior!
