07/08/2020 - WHY REBEL AGAISNT THE LORD?

Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For the Lord has spoken: “I have nourished and brought up children, And they have rebelled against Me;  Isaiah 1:2

The Lord’s message through the prophet Isaiah was intended for the physical and spiritual worlds. Both men and angels should be alert to fulfill the divine plan. Today this applies as well. Thus, because Jesus redeemed us on the cross of Calvary, we are sent into the world with the mission of announcing the Good News. This blessed Message speaks of the salvation of man, the return of Christ, and the eternal destiny of those who remain rebellious.

The account of what happened with the coming of the Son of God and his consequent substitutionary death on behalf of man is to be received with joy and attention by the inhabitants of the earth, and also by the angels, who do the Lord’s bidding, obeying the voice of God. His Word (Ps 103.20). The work must be done according to the Scriptures. Otherwise the divine purpose will not be wrought, and the blame will be wholly upon those who have transgressed. Watch and pray!

To prevaricate is to make a deal for which we were not constituted. The “power of attorney” we received made us witness to what Christ accomplished for humanity, to go all over the world and preach the Gospel to every creature (Mk 16:15). In preaching the Gospel, we have the authority to heal the sick and set the oppressed free, just as the Master showed when He was here among us. To do otherwise is to disobey the Lord.

The inhabitants of Judah and those of Samaria were to hear the words of the Most High. God had created children who would continue His work, but they did not follow their example. Similarly, the so-called Christian Church has become anything but the house of God, where His will is fulfilled. Why does it happen? Now the devil endeavors the servants of the Lord to break Jesus’ command, and many fall into this trap!

In addition to raising children, the Heavenly Father gave them the growth they needed to become His heirs. However, they were influenced by marketing techniques – practices without biblical backing – and forgot to do good as Jesus did, and the true Gospel was replaced by pyrotechnic shows.

Not only were we made children of God, but also exalted – magnified – by Him, with the same glory bestowed on Christ. We are saved and have authority, in the Name of Jesus, to do the same works that He did in His earthly ministry. Now why do we not do such things for those who suffer?

The Most High told Isaiah that the reason was the transgression of His people, who heeded the enemy. This is malfeasance! Where is it written that the Lord does not work miracles today? Unfortunately, many people believe this. This is the time to bring into operation the same power that Jesus showed.
