Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.

Proverbs 3:7

God’s philosophy is different from that of the world in that here people learn a little but think they know everything without really knowing anything. The Lord is the Truth and therefore all that He teaches us is how things really should be. He never makes mistakes nor makes a decision that is not sheer and perfect truth. As a result, those who believe in the Almighty and shun any guidance that does not derive from Him will always be successful.

What the Almighty speaks through the Word is the secret for you to do the holy will of the Father, so believe what He says even though it might not seem to fit as a solution to the problem. God knows everything; He knows where disobedient behavior comes from and who is behind it. So, whatever is mere likelihood does not stand the confrontation with the Truth.

Ignoring the lessons that the Most High teaches is a big mistake. They are unlike any other because in them there is life and solution to all problems. Moreover, the divine guidance always turns those who accept them into successful people. God would never say something that was not fully able to properly solve the problems of His children because He is perfect in all His actions.

The health of your whole body lies in the assimilation of the revelations given to you in the Word of God. So keep in mind that the teachings of the Lord are good for a healthy life and that the spiritual health precedes the physical. A sick soul is a warning that the physical body is not well and a sick body is a sign that the soul has not been fed with the real food. The body of Jesus – the Word – is the food that will strengthen you.

The Lord\’s counsel is for man to face the storms of life and get rid of every bond of the enemy. For this reason, a wise person abides by what God says and thus is free from the attacks of hell. The devil enjoys it when God’s children do not give due attention to what they are taught by Heaven because when they do so they lack the strength to escape his traps.

My brother, your physical and spiritual structures need refreshment so that, with patience and wisdom, you can make the important decisions that will turn you into a victorious person. Although the struggles of life undermine people’s resistance, the teachings of the Lord strengthen them. So do not let your ability to face battles be weakened.

With this advice you will be invincible in all battles you wage, and thus God Himself will be fighting in your place. Be wise in the eyes of the Almighty, and nothing – absolutely nothing – will defeat you. The Lord wants us to be winners, not losers, so give joy to the Savior of your life.
