Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.   Psalm 119.11

The psalmist shows that he considered keeping the revelation of the Word of the Lord as a priority. He understood its importance and did not want to sin against the Most High God. Keep in your heart everything that you learn from the Scriptures. Thus, the enemy will not be able to steal the revelation that you receive, and with it, you will always defeat him.

The psalmist said that he kept the Word in such a way that nobody could see it or take it away from him. However, he did more: he observed the Word constantly. The Christian that does not strive to preserve the revelation that the Lord gives through the Scriptures will soon have problems with the devil. Now, what is the use of being enlightened with the eternal light if you cannot benefit from it? It is the Word that strengthens you for the battles.

The person that does not keep the Scriptures in his heart does not respect the Lord. When God makes us understand His will, He offers us the key that makes faith arise, leading us to take hold of the blessing and the complete victory. According to the Bible, hope deferred makes the heart sick (Pv 13.12). Therefore, those who are illuminated by the eternal Word must assume what the Father ministers to them. Do not wait to be freed from any evil.

Everything that the Most High does has a defined purpose. Thus, those who do not listen to what He reveals sin against Him. If, by any chance, we sin against someone, we will not have made something good; but if we sin against our Father, our blame will be much greater. Everything that God speaks or orders you to do is a blessing; therefore, believe completely in what He tells you through the Bible.

Notice this: when we are tempted, the Spirit of God shows us what to do so that we do not fall in the traps of the enemy. This word that He sends to our heart must be assumed and kept, for it has the power to hinder us from going back to sin. The secret for us not to fall into sin again is to be zealous about the revelation received by the Most High. Never leave the order of watch and pray so that you do not fall into temptation (Mk 14.38).

Only those who do not have perfect judgment will allow the enemy to use them to hurt the Lord. If the evil one comes near you, send fire on him until you convince him that he has no chance in dominating you. Our love for God must be ostensible to the point of making the devil twist his nose every time we go somewhere and speak to someone about our faith in Jesus. We have the authority to represent the Lord and make His will (Mk 16.17,18).

The Word that is given to you will never be revoked. However, it is necessary that you understand that it came to enlighten your way. This is the best manner of having it and hiding it in your life. Every time that it is needed, open your mouth and confess what God says about you. If you always fulfill His orders, you will always be victorious.
