The guidelines found in Scripture must be carefully observed. By doing that, we will be good stewards of God’s love and goodness (1 Peter 4.10). The world does not want us, because, being dominated and directed by the devil, it does everything so that the lost will not see that we are the salt of the earth (Matthews 5.13), the ones who will not let them get lost in sins. We have the power from Heaven to lead the wicked to the transformation they need.
After informing us that we receive from divine power everything that concerns the life and fear of the Lord (2 Peter 1.3), Peter exhorts us to put our diligence into it (verse 5). The brethren who turn a blind eye to this warning live below the line of achievement in Christ, which all people should experience. It is unacceptable that a saved person, having the Lord as Father, should live with empty hands, lacking even the basics in life.
The Most High informs us that everything has been given to us through the knowledge of the Savior. It is He who has called us by His glory and virtue (2 Peter 1.3), and not man, who talks too much and can do nothing. The Lord has all power in Heaven and on Earth, so He does all things that He desires or that are essential. The Father used the knowledge of Jesus to enable the needy to fulfill themselves while they are here in this life.
The apostle says that we have been given very great and precious promises (2 Peter 1.4). This information was given by God himself, who speaks the truth. In view of this revelation, I ask you: why don’t you consecrate yourself and become the person that the Lord has planned? Now, whatever He says is required of all His servants. The lack of action on your part damages the divine work.
No promise of the Lord can be ignored. Through each one, we, the children of God, become partakers of the divine nature. Now, this is paramount to our complete victory. To be partakers of the Father’s nature is the best that could be promised to us, isn’t it? So, whoever you are, be fulfilled in Jesus, fulfilling His guidance. The power to obtain all things has already been given to you!
Peter declares that we must devote our care to the very great and precious promises. No doubt God would not have made and put them in the Bible if they were not important to us. A lack of zeal in meditating on the Word deprives us of the authority and anointing that rested on Jesus in His days on Earth. They will also rest on us, His blessed children. In Christ, we are the answer for the afflicted.
We must add virtue, the infinite power of God, to all that He reveals to us. Then the enemy will not prevent us from carrying out our mission. The Lord calls us to be zealous with Scriptures. In this way we will fulfill what has been said about us. God informs us that, in this way, we will not be idle or useless in our calling (2 Peter 1.8).
In Christ, with love,

O God! With great joy before You, we place our lives to be used as You have spoken, just as You used Your Son. With Your power working in us, we will do the same works as Christ, and even greater. We desire to be the express image of the Savior among the ungodly!
Those who do not know You are filled with futility and live in sin. If we have the understanding of Your Son, we will go to the lost with Heaven's answer to their cries. From the Word, we understand that this is our task!
Father, to fulfill Your redemptive plan, we must act, working in Your harvest. After all, as Jesus was sent into the world, we are sent by Him. Therefore, we cannot disregard what we have learned here today. Help us to truly honor You!
