Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.

Ephesians 1:3

The blessings revealed in this biblical passage are delivered to us in three different opportunities. The first one occurs when we are saved. When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we receive the power to be called sons of God. Our spirit – the true person – is recreated in Christ, and from this moment on, we receive forgiveness for our sins. Our sins are forgiven as if we had never done anything wrong.

Few people understand the greatness of salvation. Whoever dies without salvation will never inherit the Kingdom of God. Because this is such a serious issue, every person who’s already saved should invest time and resources to talk about the love of God. Christian people who do not wish to evangelize – to take the lost ones to the Lord – shall suffer an eternal prejudice, because they won’t have obeyed the Master’s commandments. (Mark 16:15) Don’t let this happen to you!

Through salvation, we become members of God’s family and Jesus’ brothers and sisters – Jesus is God’s only child, and we are His adopted brothers and sisters. In the same way, we are also called heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. (Romans 8:17) From then on, we are members of the body of the Lord, transported from darkness to the Kingdom of God’s love. (Colossians 1:13)

We shall reach blessings after the coming of the Lord: those who are alive shall be transformed, and those who are dead will resurrect. On that day we will all receive glorified bodies – not subject to material things anymore – just as it was with Jesus when He presented himself to His disciples walking through a door. (John 20:19-23) This new body cannot be destroyed, for death will no longer exist.

Amongst the blessings that shall come, we can highlight moral and mental perfection, complete restoration of our personality’s image and the admission to the divine presence to meet Him and know Him, just as He knows us. (Galatians 4:9) The Lord resumes what He will share with us in eternity, saying that it shall be what no ear has heard, no eye has seen and no mind has conceived. (1 Corinthians 2:9)

Of all the wonders that we can enjoy today, which only depends on our faith, are divine healing, forgiveness of sins, peace, and whatever else’s necessary to live a good life. However, we must listen to the Word of God and take hold of our victory, and use faith to receive these blessings. Everything you learn from the Word will be possible to you if you believe.

Those who are saved can also be baptized in the Holy Spirit, have all the spiritual gifts conceded by Him operating in their lives and produce the fruit of the same Spirit. (Galatians 5:22) They can also live free from every condemnation, because they are God’s own justice.

In Christ, with love,
