For the LORD will plead their cause, and plunder the soul of those who plunder them.

Proverbs 22: 23

Touching the anointed of The Lord is not a good attitude (Psalm 105: 15; I Samuel 24: 6, 7). Woe to those who dare touching someone who has been granted the divine anointing even though, in men’s point of view, that person might be considered altogether insignificant. God – our Defender – doesn’t take any attitude in disagreement with His Word even though it might seem necessary to you. The Lord is a worthy Supreme Knight of valour and an unbeatable General in battles and once the war breaks out no truce shall be accorded.

Not being fully acquainted with the terms of the covenant signed by The Lord with His children is a mistake many people make. When Goliath cursed David through his gods (I Samuel 17: 43) the Philistine was actually digging his own grave because at that point, even without being aware of it, he caused the divine power to operate against himself. David, knowing the promise The Almighty had made to Abraham – and, by extension, to his offspring – smiled and shouted saying that, on that day, God would definitely deliver his opponent into his hands (verse 46).

A Christian doesn’t walk unprotected. Due to some reasons still unknown to us it turns out that some people who do not fear God apparently happen to achieve success against us. Yet, it’s only a matter of time; soon that person’s time of opportunities will pass away and he or she will see how much The Lord loves and defends those who put their trust in Him. God is and shall always be The Guardian of His true servants (Psalm 91:121).

Yet, for us to have this protection we must remember that The Lord will never act in disagreement with the records in His Word even though, on occasion, we happen to think He should take an attitude contrary to the Bible. Now, The Most High always respects His ways and He expects us to do so as well. On top of that, He’s never unfair not even to evil men but whenever we provoke His wrath He begins taking action and, consequently, nobody and nothing can ever stop Him. Therefore, you must make sure to always have clean hands and to wear white garments (Ecclesiastes 9: 8).

Woe to those who attempt to cause any harm against a man who believes in The Lord even though, humanly speaking, he might be labelled as unimportant. God forbids anybody to touch any of His prophets and mistreat any of His anointed ones! Those who do it will find out that they’ve committed a severe error. Before taking Israel out of Egypt it turned out that The Lord avenged His people’s cause and Pharaoh got to see how much harm the divine wrath can cause against those who don’t respect the holy people.

Don’t be afraid of obeying The Lord! You can be certain that you’ll suffer no harm, absolutely none at all for listening to His Words. The devil might even threaten you and – however unbelievable it might seem – some people do listen to him but if they knew how much they willl suffer in the hands of the enemy they would never have disobeyed The Worthy Knight of valour, the One who goes forth like a mighty man (Isaiah 42: 13).

Please, notice that God is slow to anger (Nahum 1: 3) but once He’s furious there’s no way to stop Him. Having The Lord operating no truce will be given to His adversaries but complete victory for those who serve The Most High. His building up the tower is never hindered for lack of resources considering that they are unlimited. Therefore, the moment you acknowledge your rights and ownership by effectively taking possession of them The Lord God will operate on your behalf till you’ve achieved total victory. So, do take your stand in this battle!

In Christ, with love,
