We are all God’s creatures, but to be part of the Lord\’s people we need to go through the new birth. Man will not take part in the divine family if he does not experience the re-creation of the spirit which, by the way, is essential for man to have communion with the Creator and escape from eternal destruction reserved for those excluded from divine paternity and who will be called, according to the Scriptures, children of the devil (I John 3:10).
Adam’s fall brought us a bloody heritage, which is present in spirit, soul and body: we’ve become children of the devil. In fact, when we are born we are already separated from the Truth, contaminated and dominated by the nature of the enemy. Therefore, we are bent on lying, cheating and all else that is wrong. Part of this evil is undone when we hear the Gospel and turn to Jesus, because then we start to fear the Lord and respect His Word. However, another part of evil remains with us even after our conversion. That is what the Lord says in the verse we are studying.
In fact, the ability of the Lord\’s children to turn away from Him still haunts them – a proof is that many of the saints used by the Almighty did go astray. However, after the new birth, we receive the Spirit of God and if we keep communion with Him, we will not yield to the desires of the flesh.
He who is far from the way of the Almighty is not in a good spiritual position: he cries out but receives no answer for sin separates him from the Father and the divine face is hidden; consequently God does not hear his cry. It is therefore necessary that he converts. There is no point in belonging to a church or appearing well-intentioned, for he will be judged based on what is written in the 66 books of the Holy Scriptures.
Examine your behavior, your thoughts and desires; whether you have been faithful to your spouse or not and seek God\’s forgiveness
because, otherwise, there is no use crying. You must live to exalt the Lord – and this is done by the way you lead your life. Therefore, if you are in sin or you have been spiritually inactive, seek help from on High immediately and be a doer of good works. Make sure you fulfill the divine plan for the day of reckoning will come, and he who is not found doing God’s will shall be cast into the lake that will burn with fire and brimstone (Revelation 21:8). Whatever you did in the past, however good, will not save you. To achieve salvation, one must do what Jesus instructed: endure to the end (Matthew 24:13)!
