Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

I John 4: 15

There are no favorites for salvation because it is available for all those who accept Jesus as their Savior and confess Him as The Son of God. We must give due value to our confession concerning the affiliation of Jesus in relation to the Father because it is of paramount importance, after all he who believes in what God says has the witness in himself, but he who doesn’t believe has made Him a liar (I John 5:10).

What the devil loathes the most is hearing from anybody that Jesus is The Son of God, that Christ is pure and with His blood, shed on The Calvary, He paid the price required for men to come out of the empire of darkness and be conveyed into the Kingdom of God (Colossians 1:13). So, the enemy tries to make that truth go unnoticed for he knows that it was because of our Savior that he lost control over us.

Declaring that Jesus is the Christ causes us to conquer the necessary faith for us to be saved thus becoming members of the divine family and ensuring our position in the presence of God. Satan strives for us not to confess that truth because when we do so we have our Father by our side and become established in Him. A simple attitude can change our lives forever!

Apart from being saved, those who believe in the fact that Jesus is the Son of the Most High get the Lord to dwell in them. Such attitude means putting your faith in the Lamb of God. Therefore, those who take possession of such truth will not only see their eternal fate being transformed forever, but will also become heirs and heiresses of the promises made by The Lord.

Another important blessing we obtain when we declare our affiliation to Jesus is to be established in the Lord. It is such a perfect union that nobody can ever separate us from the divine love. So, whenever we need assistance we will not have to get desperate in search of the Most High any longer because being established in Him is all we need.

Furthermore we, the children of God, must never tremble when facing the onslaughts of the prince of ruthlessness because the One who dwells in us is much greater (I John 4:4). He occupies His position in our lives to defend us, to use us in the battles against all evil and to lead us into victory in all areas of our lives. Therefore, not even for a second should you stay away from Him. By obeying the commandments you will be meeting all God’s requirements.

Our bond with the Almighty is similar to that which Jesus had. The Messiah spoke with confidence and boldness about His relationship with the Father because He believed in it and therefore He did not fear that the accomplishment of His ordinances would fail. I wonder if this is the reason why what we ordain is not fulfilled. Well, confessing that Jesus is the Son of God is of the utmost importance, so why not doing it now?
