For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, but those cursed by Him shall be cut off.  Psalm 37.22

 

When the Gospel is preached, he who listens learns what God wants from him. However, many people despise the divine voice. Since they want to act according to their own desires, they do not notice how much evil they do. With such an attitude, whenever they need the Lord’s help, they will not be answered, for they ignored the Most High when He visited and did not obtain faith to receive what they needed. They are similar to the virgins that, without oil, could not enter in the feast.

Scriptures declare that whoever despises the Word of God will perish (Prov. 13.13). It is sad to see people who consider themselves saved walking without a purpose, trying to do everything they can to find meaning. Since they do not answer to the Father, they suffer a lot. The only way out to find the Lord’s favor is to repent and seek the Lord while He can be found.

God’s plan is revealed to us every time that we talk about the Good News. Many times, when this message is said, the Holy Spirit insists with some people that are not prepared to face evil’s attacks, but they do not pay attention to Him. Afterwards, when an evil work happens against them or their relatives, they become desperate and ask for prayer, because they notice that there is no solution in man’s own capacity.

There are several reasons that may lead someone to be cursed. One of them is about giving tithes. There are people that say that they are not “foolish enough” to “give to the pastor” what belongs to them. Now, if Malachi 3.8,9 is not true, we can throw the Bible away, because the rest will also not be true. In this passage of the Scriptures, the Most High says that a person that withholds the tenth part of all that he receives as salary or gift is robbing Him.

The punishment is not exaggerated, because the Creator of all things, including man, has the right to warn us that the devil is around those who refuse to obey the divine commandments, and he will place the curse upon the rebellious. Of course, God does not need our money, but in order for His work to be maintained, He created a way in which man can be rewarded as he remains with 90% of what he receives.

If you do not receive His blessing, you will be cursed. Therefore, when you learn about a specific commandment, be quick to fulfill it. If you are only a listener, which forgets and refuses the Lord’s calling, it will be impossible for the enemy not to bother you. However, if you give attention to the Most High, you will certainly have Him as Friend, and it is definitely worth it.

Whoever fulfills his mission with joy inherits the Earth – the Gospel, God’s package of promises. The Almighty looks at all the Earth trying to find the faithful fulfillers of His precepts, who are undoubtedly blessed with His goodness.
