The king shall have joy in Your strength, O LORD; and in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

Psalm 21:1

When Jesus died for our sins He purchased us for God (I Corinthians 6:20 a; 7:23 a) and that made us reborn in the divine family. He did not mind paying such a high price; He wanted us to be delivered from the hands of the enemy. Thus, Christ fulfilled the divine plan for our life. Yet, He did not defeat the devil by His massive power, but by letting Himself being wounded for our transgressions (Isaiah 53:5).

Meanwhile, once the work of salvation was thorough, which cost Him a lot, Jesus turned us into kings and priests for God (Revelation 1:6 a). No one should flout such fact considering that it is of uttermost relevance for us. The Lord made us dominators over all things regarding our living considering that we are those who will carry on doing the divine work on earth. Now, as we have been made kings, we were granted the privilege of having the last word in the mission to which we were assigned to. That is why it is not right for us to wonder whether we should or not use authority over those evil things that are oppressing someone we know of. If people turn to us or if, by any reason, we are taken to see people we must believe that that is the divine hand arranging that meeting to happen so we will be able to bless them. Therefore, we do not have to ask The Lord to do something for them; it is our duty to do something for them instead.

The evidence that we are dominators is the joy that floods our heart on account of the strength of God in us. So, if we are not joyful that means that the divine strength is not operating in us, it seems that something has gone wrong. It is extremely unlikely that someone might be of God if they do not have the heavenly power operating on their behalf.

When we rejoice in our salvation that also signals that we are fulfilling our calling indeed. Christians who pay no notice to that fact need to look into themselves – for they might not have been incorporated into the divine plan yet. Those who have no joy might be out of the will of The Lord. Only those who greatly rejoice with the salvation operated in them by Jesus are actually following the plan of God.

Those who were made dominators for The Most High should behave in accordance with the anointing they have received. He did not give us His power for us to keep our arms crossed, but for us to carry on doing the work that Jesus began. Be someone who gets that work moving forward!

In Christ, with love,
