“Hear my voice, O God, in my meditation; preserve my life from fear of the enemy.” (Psalm 64:1)

It’s good to know the promises of God and have faith to request them. That’s everything we need to be assisted when we’re being tempted. All servants of the Lord went through trials like those you’re facing now. You must know that the enemy has been working in all generations and he tempts everybody. Now, nobody should think they’re weak whenever they’re harassed by him as though that temptation reveals that they’re worth nothing. Don’t believe you’re worthless, but remember the promises of the Lord for you and go for them.

The devil tries to lure you into doing something wrong and, at the same time, as part of his ruthless plan, he also tries to convince you that that’s happening to you because of the perversity which dwells in you. Well, the truth is that even our Lord Jesus was tempted in everything (Hebrews 4:15). So, don’t give in to any of the enemy’s assaults against you, if that’s the case, and don’t consider yourself to be a low rank, filthy person, someone with a bad character. Don’t think that your low self-esteem is the cause of your being having and wishing worthless ideas.

The good news is that Jesus already promised that His and Our Father, His and Our God will come to deliver us from all temptations if we cry out to Him (Matthew 26: 41; Luke 22:40; Hebrews 2:18). Don’t accept those things the tempter has been offering you and don’t practice them either. The Word states that “with the temptation He will also make the way of escape,” (I Corinthians 10:13). God’s faithful and He’ll never let you be tempted beyond what you are able. So, do resist it and you’ll come out of it even stronger!

Cry out to the Lord whatever the circumstances. That’s what the verse above is telling us. The Most High listens to all those who turn to Him and ask for His intervention. He’s waiting for you to use your faith right now and to beg for deliverance from any evil assault. Don’t let sadness devour you inside and don’t let anger come over you because of your weakness; just get it sorted out right away! He’s inviting you right now to say “that’s enough” to everything that’s coming from our enemy to drive you away from The Way.

Don’t be a slave of the horrors of the enemy. All you’ve got to do is to say to the Lord what’s going on. Don’t hide anything, confess those evil things you’ve already accepted and refuse to carry on being under that oppression. When you recognize all your sins and confess them to Him The Lord comes through and He’ll also forgive you because He knows how to deal with all kinds of temptations. God knows how to disassemble all traps that the devil has set to have you in his filthy hands.

Never mind about how many mistakes you’ve committed. All your errors were thrown onto Christ who paid the price for you to be rescued. This is a very special moment for you because God’s visiting you now and He’s ready to thoroughly transform you. Take possession of this blessing!
