03/23/2013 - Inspiration of the Spirit for the good work

The beautiful passage from Exodus 35:30-35 speaks about Bezalel’s ability to perform several works: And the Spirit of God filled him with wisdom, understanding and all manner of workmanship. Just as it happened with the son of Uri, the Lord also calls us to work.

The wonderful meaning of this passage is that this call is not just for spiritual ministry. It also refers to achievements in all areas of our life, including professional.

Just like the church, it is this inspiration that we should seek – and I include myself in this obligation – in our daily professional life. Believe me: your profession was planned by God. It is He who blesses humans with gifts and abilities. Give freedom for the Holy Spirit to work in you and through your work; pass the Word and God’s will on.
