Luke chapter 19 tells a great story of redemption. In that passage, Jesus entered Jericho where there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector. When he heard that the “Rabbi” changed people’s history, Zacchaeus set out to meet Him.
Because he was short of stature, the crowd around Jesus posed a problem for him, so Zacchaeus climbed up a sycamore tree and waited for Jesus to pass.
When the Master passed by He invited him to come down, because He would go to his house. Seated at the table with the Savior and offering his best, Zacchaeus was instructed. Upon hearing the Word, salvation was manifested when Moses’ Law was put into practice.
When you practice the Word of God you are justified by the Lord.
