09/25/2013 - Jesus never stops taking care of you – 1st lesson

After performing one of His great miracles – the multiplication of the fish – Jesus did two things: He made His disciples get into the boat and then He departed to the mountains to pray (Mark 6:45).
We can derive several lessons from these two actions. The first is that the Lord taught His disciples that a great miracle would never be the most important thing God would do in their lives. After they did what the Lord Jesus had ordered, the disciples found themselves alone in the middle of the sea. But Jesus was watching them, thus teaching us a lesson according to which when we obey what the Word says we might be put to the test or go through a difficult situation but Jesus will never stop watching over us and will always help and guide us.
