In Isaiah 43:18-19 it is written: “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old.”
In this passage, God speaks to us about the coming year. In 2013, just as in previous years, good and bad things happened. However, we cannot perpetuate the past, carrying it into the future.
You won’t be able to walk into the future if you are not willing to let go of the past. There are people who say, “I will never live such good times as those ever again.” This is not right for God, in the biblical text above, tells us that He makes something new. And He always does what’s best; the heavenly Father always has a new wine.
Let us believe and live this faith. Happy New Year!
