10/18/2011 - Our blessing does not depend only on the will of God
Pr. Glauber Morare
We all believe that the Lord is all power, and that His will is sovereign. But if God is love, why doesn’t He take some action with respect to the suffering in the world?
It doesn’t depend solely on God for the miracle to happen. In Isaiah 1:19 we learn that we also have to be willing to live the complete and sovereign will of God in our lives.
In Matthew 8:1-2 the minute the leper presented himself stating the will of God, he was in agreement with the Lord and His word. Therefore, Jesus reached out and healed him.
You should also be in agreement with the Lord and the Word. In the Bible, you find His will for you in a clear and objective way. Take possession of this understanding as your own. Draw near the Father boldly. I assure you that after this encounter you will achieve victory.
