Now it happened one day that Elisha went to Shunem, where there was a notable woman, and she persuaded him to eat some food. (II Kings 4:8)
This text is about a woman who believed in the word of the prophet Elisha and had a generous faith, for she invited him to eat some food in her house.
Many people have faith to receive but not to give, which causes them to lose their blessing. The woman received a great blessing: she could not be a mother, but the prophet said: “About this time next year you shall embrace a son.” And so it was! (II Kings 4:16-17).
Have a generous faith and a lot will change in your life.
