I am not at ease, nor am I quiet; I have no rest, for trouble comes.” (Job 3:26).
Everyone’s familiar with the plight of Job. What you may not know is that before going through ordeals (losing everything), he had no peace. As he himself said, he had no rest or quiet, he didn’t sleep for his soul was troubled.
There are many people like Job; they appear to have a life of peace but, in fact, things are not quite like that. When darkness takes hold of one’s soul it creates disturbance, it makes one lose sleep and deprives people of happiness… But if the person is one with God and has fellowship with Him, everything will be solved. “Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you.” (Job 22:21).
