A New Year is coming, and we will certainly bring many joyful moments with us as we move forward. However, it is important that we receive guidance from God. The first thing to remember is that we mustn’t hold on to our grief, our disappointment, or the suffering we might have endured. Scripture tells us not to look back.
It is said in Philippians chapter 3. 12-14 “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
The Apostle Paul was one of the greatest persecutors of the primitive church. Had he remained stuck in the past, he would not have been able to develop his ministry, and today we would not be what we are.
If you stay stuck in in the past, you will not succeed in life!
We should always seek guidance from the Lord, because it is only in this way that we may enter the New Year with the Lord’s blessing.
Seek God, pray, determine, for it is only in this way that you will be able to contemplate a year full of victories and achievements.
As my prayer, I wish for your happiness.
