09/24/2014 - The parable of the unjust judge

“Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart”. (Luke 18:1)

We all have daily needs that cannot be neglected. For example: eating, drinking water, sleeping etc. We never complain about doing them because if we ignore them we will have serious health problems.

But when we meditate on the verse above, we realize that Jesus was speaking of another kind of need that should be included in our daily activities: prayer. Because they don’t turn prayer into a usual habit, many are living a real spiritual failure.

Jesus’ practice of prayer was one of his daily duties. The Bible shows several reports in which He preached and prayed at dawn. Note that when faced with the devil (Luke 4), He said that man does not live by bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from God’s mouth.
Include prayer in your daily life. I can assure you that success will come.
